Cursillo is a worldwide movement in the Catholic Church that teaches a method to live a committed Christian life. The Cursillo Weekend provides tools for your prayer life, awareness of the need to study and learn more about God and being a Christian in Action in daily life. The Weekend begins Thursday evening and ends Sunday. A priest and one or two deacons are part of the weekend. Participants must be Catholic to attend, as sacraments are provided. There is usually one Weekend a year for Men and one for Women. Community is built on the weekend and support continues afterward through small groups and community gatherings. Pray to be open to the work of the Holy Spirit for the Weekend! It's a wonderful opportunity to deepen your faith and grow in your love and relationship with God. Upcoming Cursillo Weekend dates are TBD. Check the bulletins for more information and contacts. Father Chris Clay is the Spiritual Director for the Diocese of Lexington Cursillo movement.
